Celebrate Black History Month
In Longwood Gardens tradition of celebrating African American culture since 1910.
ArtJaz Gallery is pleased to announce an art exhibit of contemporary fine art, as part of Longwood Gardens Black History Month celebration. On exhibit will be paintings by: VERA HART, RICHARD J. WATSON, CALVIN COLEMAN, JACKSON-COLLINS and mixed media/drawing by KATHLEEN OGILVIE.
The Black History Discovery Day programming is in collaboration with the Wilmington Urban League and will include a host of activities including a children's African dance performance a Po/Jazz performance by the Hidden Treasure with poet LAMONT "NAPALM" DIXON and storytelling by performer TAHIRA.
